Rainbow in the mist at upper Whitewater Falls.

This rainbow appears around noon and doesn't last more than about 20 minutes. Used 175 mm focal length from the observation platform (there is no way to get closer). Used the pularizer to maximize the rainbow colors. Exposure: 1/500 s, f/6.3

Fantastic. I love the combination of rainbow contrasting the monotone of water and rock.

Thanks for all the comments. This is one of my favorites. This rainbow effect only lasted about 20 minutes per day. Here is a full view of the falls, and here is another full view by Scott Neuner. --Joe
