henrimanguy 0 Posted November 15, 2004 Excellent shot and very original. Good opposition between the straight lines of the roads and the curves of the river. Link to comment

bekster 0 Posted November 16, 2004 This is a great low-level aerial shot... The detail is wonderful. Just be careful who you fly with and never fly into a box canyon ;) Link to comment

davidroossien 0 Posted December 2, 2004 I like how the oval/egg shaped areas surround the strong diagonal line. The brighter area in the upper center drew my attention immediately. Love the color! Link to comment

Phil_Light 794 Posted December 8, 2004 Solid aerial image. I just love the way landscapes become abstract paintings! Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 65 Posted December 16, 2004 Lou Ann, what a great shot of a flood plain--both as an abstraction and as reality. I noticed this much earlier and thought that I had commented. You must have had the pilot stand the plane on its wing to get this angle. I remember looking at the Salt Fork of the Brazos west of Abilene, Texas, from the canyon cliffs above and seeing dried salt crystals, which I think might be the source of the white on the sand bars here--the water evaporates and leaves a thin layer of various crystalline inorganic salts.
