Me ha traido a la mente el recuerdo de un a encina giganyesca que he visto hoy en el suelo, fallecida ya por los a�os. Es como estar junto al arbol. Muy buena!!

A beauifully seen image. However the strong graphic element lends itself to Black and White. In fact the green and blue detract from the image.

I have to agree with Ian Smith on this one. A little more back lighting, pulling slightly back from the trunk and making it a B&W would have been a little less "complicated". Mind you, the image did catch my eye though. Cheers. I wonder how this scene would look in IR?

This photograph is very arresting. At the same time on closer look, I am not sure if it is all that balanced as I am not able to lock my attention on the tree trunk due to the branches on the left. It would be interesting to see a different angle of this tree. Probably shoot the branches through the arch of the tree trunk. May be it just my eyes:-) Any way, great work and a great place!

I like this better in color because the viewer is drawn through the natural frame by the saturated colors. While the BW version has more texture, it doesn't have the interesting dichotomy. The chaotic left side contrasts the simplicity on the right, making the clean and simple side the viewer's choice.

Great pic.. When you have a veiwer go WOW!! you know you have an excellent image.. and so many of yr images make me go WOW!!
