I prefer the colour. This is well done, and excellently timed. The birds, if they are real (it's a shame nowadays to think they could be PS) occupy the perfect amount of space relative to the cloud and needle. Well done.

Many thanks for your comments. Aaron, rest assured, these birds are REAL and I didn't give them a single touch. They were circling around the whole time when I was there. I have another photo in my "Urban" folder showing the same group of pigeons. I didn't and still don't know the name of this particular temple (not that famous I guess. The one in the background is famous though, called Golden Mount), but I was struck by the light and shot MANY, then came the pigeons :o) I missed the Grand Palace on that day, but I don't regret. As avid amateur photographers, we have to sacrifice, don't we?

Liu Yuan,

This is a great photo taken at a great time. Composition wise, you did a terrific job. The rays are a huge bonus. Congrats.

I believe this is one of a jedis inside the temple ground of Wat Theptidarm, judging from its distance relationship to the Golden Mount (Phukao Thong in Thai.) Beautiful light with sound composition. Liu, you sure get around! ^_^
