jmacneil 0 Posted January 22, 2005 i'd appreciate any comments anyone can give me. in particular, does the slight diagonal (which should be a vertical) of the building detract from the photo greatly? Link to comment

ayres narita 0 Posted January 22, 2005 The diagonal little tower adds more in the vintage looking. Congratulations this is a really nice picture and by the way your portfolio is really cool. Thank you for sharing Mrs. MacNeil! Link to comment
elwin_estle 0 Posted January 22, 2005 Very strong composition. I like the simplicity and the texture. It seems a bit unsharp, but that almost adds to the shot, makes it almost seem like a vintage photograph. I think I would like to see what it would look like sepia toned or perhaps even hand colored. The setting looks like it would be a really good place to pose a model. I also find myself wondering how the shot would look in infrared. (or infrared with a model). It has an almost William Mortensen feel to it, and I am a huge fan of his work. Link to comment
john falkenstine 1 Posted January 23, 2005 Just a careful crop and some curves and a filter and here is my version: Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted October 11, 2006 Jennifer - a nidely composed iamge. It is lsightly over exposed I think, resulting in the blown highlights on the second and top step, but the textures in the concrete elsewhere are captured in some detail Link to comment
