ada-ipenburg 0 Posted November 9, 2004 A real beautiful composition! Great colours and a excellent choise to cut the picture to this small and high size. Very well done!! 6/7 Link to comment
wood_holzmann 0 Posted November 11, 2004 I've been to that church in Firostefani and I have NO idea how you got behind it like that. There's just a small dirt hill there with lots of bushes and I had a hard time getting back far enough for a shot like that. Here's my attempt: http://threewood.com/europe03/santorini/play.jpg Link to comment
michael_brown6 0 Posted November 11, 2004 My shot is taken further to the right (the belltower is more visible) You can drive right up behind it, and then jump over the ledge and you have a perfect view. Most shots of it are taken from exactly this angle. Link to comment

barclayphoto 0 Posted December 4, 2004 Alright I am finally ready to comment on this one.. I've looked at it many times but did not know why something bothered me... As much as there are gradiations in the color of the sky I still feel like the extra empty space is not helping or maybe enhancing this image. When I shoot pans I like to ask myself does the pan format enhance this image over say a 35mm format? If not I just shoot it in 35mm... Anyway I hate to break my long line of glowing comments but this one just does not work as well for me. Obviously I'm in the minority but heck its a critique site and I figured you would want honest feedback. I like the top cropped to just above the islands. Link to comment
