JC White Paint #2

littlebill

White tempera paint, minor Photoshopping and JC. No face shots because she wouldn't let me paint her face. That's why I experimented later in Black.

Paul de Vries eh? I ought to have named myself Piter Atreides. ;) Thanks for the comment... yeah it's a little overblown... maybe I can fix that...

I hope you can fix it. But I do not understand the comment about my name? What association do you have with my name?

Thanks. This one's digital and I think it was lost in a hard drive crash... so I think it's gone forever (or for $1000 to get a recovery team to fix.) Never mind on the comment about your name, I was making a vague sci-fi reference.

yep, Dune. As far as the Hard Drive, these things happen. I should've been smart enough to backup. I do so religiously now.

Personally, i like very much that the left breast is overexposed, because it becomes reductive. which is what i think you were trying to accomplish in this series. reducing the palate to black white and in the case of the woman, red, and then playing with texture, and form. They're all very interesting...but back to the breast, I like it because it loses the texture, which consists of lines that describe surface. Then it becomes flat, 2-D, and about the line of the silhouette. something similarly nice happens with the single hairs to the right...
