My camera was actually sitting on top of my backpak about 1.5 ft. above the floor. andYes, all of my images are scanned from negatives.I used to scan images from prints, but after I saw those same images scanned from negatives, I went out and bought myself a Minolta Dimage Scan Dual II.. ;-)

Yale, a very nice image which, in my opinion, should have been taken with a higher camera position. You would have almost the same image with much less convergence of vertical lines. If tripods aren't allowed you have to make do & compromise. That's life. Also, to me, this shot crys out for symmetry which could only be obtained with the camera positioned more to the right in line with the center of the staircase. Best, LM.
