sabshire 0 Posted November 8, 2004 Excellent composition and angle on this one. The fog really adds to the architectural effect of this one. Good pic! Link to comment
ivar olsen 0 Posted November 8, 2004 This is nice...but IMHO it COULD be spectatcular!!! :-)) Revisit when it's done...? Cheers! Ivar Link to comment

axelg 3 Posted November 14, 2004 Thank you all for your comments. I will surely try to revisit when it's done. But not sure I'll get the same conditions (morning + fog). For the record this is the world's heaviest pushed viaduct, and its concrete/steel structure is unprecedented. Though it is finished, it will open to road traffic in 2006. Link to comment
tzenyujuei 0 Posted November 22, 2004 very dramatic... how is the world did you take this? Link to comment
axelg 3 Posted November 22, 2004 Just chance I believe... I worked 5 weeks on this project and saw that hazy/sunny situation for only 2 days. Link to comment

mark_woolington 0 Posted January 22, 2005 Axel, I realy like this shot. I first thought it was in the water. The lines moving into the fog works well and gives it a sense of just going to some mystical place. Mark W. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted March 12, 2005 Axel just looking and rating some of your folder here. This one is fabulous and going 7/7 for it...great job. Link to comment
miha_steinb_cher 0 Posted March 27, 2005 Alex, It's a great photo! Anyway, it remains me a bit of the last one I posted here at photo.net. I miss a certain punch in it. I know, it's your work and it's absolutely up to your aesthetics, but have you considered converting it into B&W? It may give you a way to increase contrast between softness of fog and geometrical shape of sunlit columns. A warm and sharp yellow vs. mellow foggy blue would work even better, but some serious filtering when taking picture would be needed IMHO to achieve this and preserve shadow details. Please, don' get me wrong, I really like the picture! Miha Link to comment

lbattjes 0 Posted April 17, 2005 Thanks so much for your comment on my riverwalk shot...I hadn't even posted it yet, so I was surprised that you found it! :~) I just took a long look at your port, and really enjoyed it! This shot is my favorite, and I agree with Mark...I thought from the thumbnail that this was a bridge over water! Beautiful! Leslie Link to comment

adan1 0 Posted October 24, 2010 The mist adds a mysterious and intriguing touch. The sweeping curve is very appealing and inviting. Link to comment
