pat_thielen 0 Posted November 5, 2004 I'd appreciate any critiques people are willing to contribute. If you really like it let me know what works, and if you totally hate it let me know what doesn't work. I'm always interested in improving my work, and critiques are an integral part of this process. Thanks much! -Pat- Link to comment
brand x 0 Posted November 5, 2004 I love your image. The tone and contrast in texture are excellent. The only thing that bothers me a little (and it might be to other?s liking) is the tilt of the head and the expression (bothered/upset?) ? I cannot quite put my finger on it. Link to comment
photoal 0 Posted November 5, 2004 I love this shot, it is almost like the old "what the Butler saw" type of image. Great tones and nice and Sharpe. Link to comment

tomfawlsphotography 0 Posted November 8, 2004 I like the shot and understand the "old-time" look & feel you're going for. I found that, unfortunately, the newer cameras are too good to give the right feel without post processing. The shots are too sharp and clear to pass as anything but an imitation. I had to blur mine (a shot of a B-17 aircraft at a 2004 airshow) and add noise and various other filters to even begin to approach the look and feel I was going for. As you're mile ahead of me on skills, I'm sure you'll get there, though. Good luck! Link to comment
