sonny_wang1 0 Posted December 23, 2004 This is part of a series on hand expressions. In this case, the hand is providing comfort to someone. Link to comment

netdeco 0 Posted December 26, 2004 After browsing through photos of mountains, trees, flowers, 'artsy' nudes, and more mountains...well, this type of photo is why I joined this site. Well done! Link to comment

lauren_smith 0 Posted May 23, 2008 I love shots like this. What I wonder, though, is why the ring is on the middle finger rather than the ring finger? And this is the only thing that takes my attention away from the emotional kick in the gut that this picture delivers. Who does the other hand belong to? Spouse? Kid? Doctor? The question distracts me from the picture as a whole. Link to comment

michaellinder 16,613 Posted January 4, 2009 There are no words to describe the impact of this photograph or the feelings it has evoked in me. The best I can think of is to use a Hebrew phrase - r'fuah sch'leima: a healing of body and spirit, a complete healing. My compliments, michael. Link to comment

kbstella 0 Posted January 4, 2009 Incredible image. Powerful, evocative and gut wrenching. A fine use of photography for what it can do best - be a window into the soul. Congratulations, this must have been a difficult image to capture for a number of reasons. Link to comment
