very good question!

In defense I might note, that I tried to position the boring lake green bits into the divine section - horizontally and vertically, but maybe I failed to express this strange inherent beauty that illuminated this place. - and of course error number one was thatit was early afternoon and not evening light whenshadows would had help to increase the relief,but I already walked all the day and the trail to return to the valley took another couple of hours, so I couldn't wait until the evening.

Looks like you may have used a polarizer here. Slightly less exposure may enhance th colours. Did you get an opportunity to shoot at dusk?

no I don't have one for this camera.

I did increase luminosity and contrast slightly,and also decrease gamma a bit. such the already hard colors of Velvia 50 slide film get even harder.

no, I didn't have this opportunityand without a helicopter it is a long way to go there. luckily there is a mountain hood nearby, but there is no service. so you have to carry equipment and food.
