Guest Guest Posted November 3, 2004 By cutting off the horses to this degree it feels as though they're only an incidental inclusion and not a primary subject - that is, I think by composing differently you could have brought them into the image with a little more romanticism. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted November 3, 2004 This is a beautiful view and landscape but pitty you have cropped the horses at the bottom! Link to comment
nilum 0 Posted November 3, 2004 thanks for your critique.I made a compromise between cutting off the mountain behind or the horses in the front. maybe it was an error, but what do you want to do with a 75mm lens otherwise? the same photo with 35mm lens doesn't look as good because the horses are too small - and I don't yet have a 50mm lens. greg mccracken 13 Posted November 18, 2004 I think his sht begs for a polarizer. Fantastic scene, however.. maybe don't cut the foreground horses legs off. Link to comment
nilum 0 Posted November 19, 2004 see a wider angle photo of the same scene: www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=2846894 Link to comment
