Winter Twilight
We don't get a vast quantity of snow in Scotland but when we do it is photographically very exciting. Blairs Loch in Forres, Moray, Scotland had one of it's first wet snow falls earlier this year. The soft pink light of twilight illuminated the grey cloud base and the warmth brought out the straw coloured hues of the barely concealed reed bed. The overhanging birch crumpled under the weight of wet snow and wept into the borders of the loch. Please feel free to visit my website, Transient light, There are some superb new shots at Timecatcher too lots more will be happening here in November.
