lmeinhardt 0 Posted September 11, 2001 I had only a ISO 3200 film but I still think the final result was better then expected... What do you think? Link to comment
oldendorf 0 Posted September 12, 2001 I think the foreground is rather good, but when it comes to the forest covering the hills in the background the image becomes to contrasty. Maybe just too dark, this could be corrected in the Darkroom... The light upper left corner is a good entrypoint for the viewer's eye into the scene. Personally I like the 3200 ASA Material and use it in daylight too, even pushed to 6400 ASA but so far only to achieve a high grain, and therefore smoother skin, as well as higher depth of field in some of my portraits. jeff_clark 0 Posted September 13, 2001 I like the image for it's texture and aproach to depth of field. For next time, try exposing Ilfords 3200 at 1600 or even 1000 and developing it for 3200. Many have found the shadow detail to really come along with making the negative much more dense. However, very nice image though. I wouldn't have clicked on it if it were shot with Yellow Box 100 because it would have been like everything else I've seen in Yosemite. Thanks for not refusing to take any pictures because you didn't have the film you wanted :-) Link to comment
