tim_vanblaricom 0 Posted February 10, 2002 This one doesn't quite make it for me, the exposure lacks IMHO. I like where this was going, I just don't think it quite got there. Tris, what are you babbling about now? 132,000 times this picture has been looked at and 33 whole people found something perfect about it. In your opinion these people are stupid because they saw something they really liked and rated it as such. These people would have been much more intelligent, by your statements, to check out your rating, then disregard their own opinion and use your marks. The absurdity of your remarks is beyond belief, the Taliban would have loved you. Link to comment
rienk_jiskoot 0 Posted February 10, 2002 Please leave the Taliban and America's pathetic little war out of this forum, Pleeeease.... Link to comment
will_wilson 0 Posted February 10, 2002 War in whatever form, between whomever, over whatever cause, is never pathetic when people have died. and I agree that it should stay out of this forum, unless the photo relates to such a topic. Link to comment
marco_vargas 0 Posted February 10, 2002 i found composition ok, but the pic does not tell me anything. excessive gray, it does not hold my attention Link to comment
marshall 0 Posted February 10, 2002 Let's not go overboard, please. No one has done anything here to deserve the comparisons that are being put forward. Although I have posted on that topic, please do not associate me, or, I believe, almost anyone here, with such insults. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 11, 2002 Marshall, your restatement sounds fair enough. For what it's worth I am fully conscious of the reactions around me--afterall, I don't exist in a vacuum. I've no intention, however, to allow those reactions, good, bad or indifferent, to sway my expression of opinion. That's a bad trap. The plain fact is there are those on this server who do not wish to entertain unfettered discussion of anything like a critical nature. To my mind that constitutes the clearest possible signal that a need exists for more of the same. Link to comment
