with your previous shot like this one, i would replace the coloured leaves to black and white, just a thought, stil your wonderful eyes still shine through whatever the composition, well done

Self-portrait, "Eyes" ...This was first done as a regular self-

portrait, and then I scanned it with leaves over it. What do you

think? I know, it is weird, but I was experimenting. Lorraine Foster

Sorry doesn't work for me. Too 'square', and POF seem to be the leaves, not the eyes. Leaves appear to be 'in the way', if you know what I mean, too close to the face. Anyway, my 2 cents. regards Raymond

I agree with the previous comments about throwing the leaves out of focus to accentuate the eyes, however, if the idea of the shot were to be used as an adverstising shot, perhaps lilac leaves/flowers to advertise a new type of makeup, then the leaves might just do well as is. In either case, the concept is well done, and yes, the eyes are quite beautiful. Very much so... Keep up the good work!

For my taste these leaves' decoration gives a too artificial effect and all together reminds me to the headgear of a moslem woman. If you wanted this effect it would be better to use a scarf, dress it how moslems do, and shoot the pic one more time. An other suggestion: if you partly wanted to hide yourself to provocate curiosity ---why not shooting the pic in an appropriate natural surrounding.
