genevieve_bertrand 0 Posted September 10, 2001 I guess the smog as more to do with this picture than I... Anyway, I really enjoy taking pictures at night but I'm not quite there yet. I think I still need to underexpose a bit (I really don't like the big flashy with spots). Any thing else I should look for? Thanks for any comments... Link to comment
cedarbough 0 Posted September 12, 2001 Did you use a filter? It seems like some sort of filter was used, if so, which one or combo? I am curious about this shot. - Cedar Link to comment
genevieve_bertrand 0 Posted September 14, 2001 No filter. It was late at night and very dark (I couldn't see clearly what I was shooting, only the little white house), but overexposing and the combination of these very low clouds, full moon raising and city lights gave this picture. Link to comment
tonys 0 Posted September 19, 2001 I like this shot, but focusing the camera more carefully would have given you a better picture. Link to comment
daniel_rice 0 Posted November 9, 2001 The sky is interesting, but not interesting enough to make this image work. The composition is weak, and it looks a little soft focused. Including the city lights, etc. weakens the image. Since the sky is the only interesting thing, why not just make a sky scape? Look for interesting patterns in the clouds? Anyway, good luck shooting. rob_ewart 0 Posted May 4, 2002 This image certainly gives Montréal a demonic air about it. Neat effect. Prior to reading comments I would have attributed it to Photoshop wizardry. Link to comment
