ivar olsen 0 Posted October 25, 2004 Taken this evening. Just before it got pitch black. Used a Maglite to get SOME light at the grass. -Indeed best viewed large. Comments and ratings are much appriciated. Ivar :-)) Link to comment
AaronFalkenberg 0 Posted October 25, 2004 Nicely done. It's almost a yin/yang kind of composition. Link to comment
ivar olsen 0 Posted October 26, 2004 Thanks! :-) The Yin/Yang was a good idea. Might have to change the name... Just wish that people rating 3/3 would have the commen sense to come with some suggestions to how to improve it... anyway... thanks for commenting! :-)) Ivar Link to comment
nichols 0 Posted October 26, 2004 Someone gave this 3's?!!!! That's unbelievable. This is a very original composition Ivar. I really like where everything is in the frame. The color is great, and I like the sense of movement.....but 3's?!!! Come on. Link to comment
sef1664877429 0 Posted October 27, 2004 Wow... now this I like! I prefer these close-up studies to the full river views, and the lighting is weird. I'm not 100% convinced by the cropping, though. I can't decide whether I'd like to see more space given to the rock on the right side, or to crop it in a bit towards the grass. And do I want a little more breathing room at the bottom for the white flow? Anyway, these are minor things, its a great shot. Link to comment
ivar olsen 0 Posted November 2, 2004 Thanks for taking time! :-)) I tried to get more space under the white...but could not manage to get in a good position. I did however manage to get another shot where I have more space to the right of the grass. (se below). What do you think of that one? See ya folks! Ivar :-) Link to comment
AaronFalkenberg 0 Posted November 2, 2004 Ivar, I still prefer the original - you've captured more of the swirl, which I think makes the image. But yes, more space on the right is probably a good thing. Link to comment
