Would be a better photo is the flame hadn't blocked up so much. You may want to heavily burn that area (say 200% or more) to get some detail out of it. The base of that candle stick has wonderful tone and is really why the photo stands out for me.

I like the concept here and overall composition. I agree with the other comment--the candle's flame is too much. Overwhelms the subtlety of a fine composition.
