erikadams 0 Posted October 25, 2004 I wonder how this would look in all sepia, that is, without the yellow Shell sign. Since we all know that Shell signs are yellow, I wonder if imagination would be sufficient for this. The yellow draws my eye away from the truck, which is clearly the subject. Without the yellow of the Shell sign, I think this one has the potential to be the better of your two shots of this truck. Link to comment
Phil_Light 795 Posted April 2, 2009 I knew you had some stunners from Bodie. This is a beautiful rendering even in the sepia that was suggested on The Road Home image. This is another of your gems. Pleasure to browse through your port. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted January 15, 2010 We all make the mistake to imagine the world in sepia in the early 1900s. I actually watched a documentary called "They Filmed the War in Colour - France" in which I could for the first time see that period as it was: lively and amazingly colorful, but not sombre and sad as often we tend to portray it. I like the tones of this photo, but I'd be curious the natural colours. Great effort though. Link to comment
