Old and New

This is so good, but I have to nitpick (just a little.) It would benefit from mild cropping to get rid of the top horizontal line. It is too close to the border and by its removal will balance the bottom.

 

Remember, its only digital, when you get a Leica, you can be pure... :-)

Bert, I can't quite get to a 9 on originality, but I still admire the originality and beauty of the image. I guess you must have taken this across from another building, because otherwise I can't see how you got the reflecting windows to be rectilinear.

if the tree was not there i thing it was perfect i like the subject old and new

Great image. I actually like the tree there in the bottom. It breaks the symmetry of the panes and the colors. I think it makes the image more interesting.
