Could you give me more details about this shot?

I know that Canon Powershot 90 has an image stabilization system. Did you use it, or the camera was hand held?

Excellent macro photography. I might have toyed with the contrast and color saturation a little to make the picture a little less flat looking, but I'm being picky. (Challenge: I understand that some dragonfly eyes are reflective. How about a shot with something interesting reflected in a dragonfly's eye?)

Michael, this looks like your regular house fly and not a dragonfly. Regardless their eyes are multi-faceted so I don't think you could get what we generally consider a reflection.

 

I personally think this is a gorgeous picture. I mean, I hate flies, but I don't find this picture gross at all. I love the color contrast, it makes t cheery.

Great photo. Cheery Amy? Well I see your point. I think maybe a touch of sharpening would bring out the little hairs on the fly.
