I get annoyed by the people who think they can take any good picture and improve it by cropping, but this time they will be right. It will reduce the originality but improve the aesthetics. Try these: Crop out the dark detail at the bottom. Crop the bottom 26 percent. Crop the bottom half. I think you might like the 26 percent crop. 5/5 as presented.

I'm not sure about cropping the bottom. For me, the most interesting feature of the photo is the reflection of the sun on the ripples of water at the bottom. Second most interesting is the mountains in the distance. Overall, though, the photo really needs something else. As it is, it is fairly average in all respects.
