great shot i love the timing the angle....if you used levels in Photoshop which i looks like you did....go back to the origional and not pull your whites out so far so they arn't over exposed

Jake and Samuel, Thank you so much for your kind words and criticisms. The bright whites however are there on purpose to highlight the drama of the moment. The stark contrasts between the innocent boy and the banners of war, between the ordinary and heroic, between words and emotion, between light and dark. Waiting for dad, yet wondering about what he has been doing....
