stephengalea 0 Posted October 19, 2004 Any comments are Welcome... Do you suggest croping this shot...i did not want to loose the sky nor the background..Wht do you suggest and why? Thx Link to comment
anish 0 Posted October 19, 2004 my first reaction to this shot was "Wow!". This is gorgeous. but you are asking for feedback, so I'll offer: I would've liked to see one boat instead of two, and then the one just a hair closer to the center of the frame. Otherwise, this is just really cool... -Anish Link to comment
richard van hoesel 0 Posted October 20, 2004 Good work Steve. The light in the lowest third of the shot looks great and is the feature that draws me in. Although those clouds are nice, I think balance would be improved if you cropped about 30% of the sky and perhaps lightened it a bit. If more of the image is available on the right, I'd consider including a little more there to place the right boat closer to a 1/3 line and emphasize it over the other one. Link to comment

swenson 0 Posted October 21, 2004 the foreground/middleground, especially the water, is too bright. Makes it look un-natural to me. Link to comment
antonym 0 Posted October 22, 2004 beautiful sky and nice placements of boats. I might have cropped off a bit of the rocks at the bottom. overall a stunning picture. Link to comment
imh 0 Posted October 22, 2004 Don't lose so much as a pixel, I think this is my favourite in your current nature landscape & scenes folder, I love the lighting on the pebbles in the foreground. CheersIan Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted October 22, 2004 Steve,Is this image put together from multiple images? The reason I asked is that there're some illogical "happenings" in the image. The foreground waves have movements and are blurred. But, the 2 boats are perfectly still and totally sharp. Seems like the the foreground and the boats are taken with different shutter speed. It's, nonetheless, beautiful. Link to comment
