is that the portait of flower or of woman?... what are the possible links between withered white flowers and a beautiful woman in black with red make up and clear look? flowers' look is sad but eyes are dry ...

or hopeful: the eternal renewal of life...

not sure which one I could choose... may be I choose all the 3 ... and what leads to this conclusion is probably the vision of the face/look which doesnt appear neitheir hostile neither friendly, very present, self controlled and absent at the same time, strangely existing with an certain absence of life, classy cold but warm thanks to reddish make up, impenetrable but irresistibly attractive... pondering....

A very novel viewpoint leading to an interesting portrait. I wonder though Natasha if the withered flowers are what is best for a foreground though. The message it conveys is not in line with the freshness of the model, but then mlaybe you wanted to point out the difference.

Just a suggestion to "simplify" the photo. To me your neck is too white on this picture which is a bit confusing especially because the flowers are white too.

A friend of mine suggest that you cover your arms so to emphazise even more on your eyes and on the flowers...

One more thing but this has nothing to do with this photo but it may be even better if we can see your beautifull hair ;)

Twas her beauty that killed the flowers 7/7

to be honest i didn't notice the flowers were dead at first,and still now i cannot focus on the flowers for longer than a second,because i am totally drawn to the eyes.maybe its me being shallow and not seeing the bigger picture or maybe the photographer has done her job well and got me to focus on the true subject.great photo all the best,

Extroadinary portrait... I like the high contrast and the eyes. Also the dark overall look. Who said about the flowers??? The flowers are great but maybe I would like to see more of the hands...
