sarah marie jones 0 Posted October 20, 2004 Offbeat and cool. It shouldn't work but it does. Link to comment
bruno 0 Posted October 20, 2004 Now I'm worried. I was talking with a friend of mine some months ago, who studies psychology. He told me that when someone starts painting all the walls red, there's nothing more you can do for him, except putting him in a madhouse. I hope either that my friend was wrong or that this room doesn't belong to you! Link to comment
gudermane 0 Posted October 20, 2004 No, it doesn't..but I am thinking about painting my room red ;) Link to comment
k2 0 Posted October 20, 2004 why red ? the soothing flavor of orange or green are of much better substance. red, much overplayed and talked about, the primal scream, the essence of blood and guilt. the red allergy with no medication in sight. lovely room indeed,..... would you protect ? --- a phantom. k Link to comment
gudermane 0 Posted October 20, 2004 K,..I am afraid this time I didn't understand the question:(... Link to comment
k2 0 Posted October 20, 2004 what attributes does red as a color have plus its symbolic meaning ? besides driving me crazy all my life ( ha ha ). is it illusion ? to smooth things a bit from white to black, to make daily suffering worth the while, to fool the fool into utopia, to kamuflage the true essence of human pain, the eternal pain of being. k Link to comment
ruslan safin 0 Posted October 21, 2004 as in common life there are stereotypes so there are stereotypes in psychology too. don't get ruled by it. :))) OPTIMISTIC!!!!:)))) Link to comment
eimages 0 Posted October 22, 2004 This is a very cool shot, leave a lot to the imagination also. Makes the viewer ask a lot of questions, very nice. Link to comment
htc 0 Posted October 24, 2004 Hi Natasha, i find the curtain here not too attractive. Splitting the space in this way does not bring anything to the photo. IMO you could crop the left 1/3. The exposure and focus is well controlled. I would go for a different angle here. calin Link to comment
advancedphoto 0 Posted October 24, 2004 There is a duality in this image that makes it very intriguing. The nude figure becomes secondary to the curtain (great element IMHO), white frame and light. Warm and sensous without being over the top. The goodies on the floor make it seem real and not staged. Link to comment
abintraphoto 0 Posted October 24, 2004 Checking out the goodies too - Hmmmmmm .... I especially like the wind chimes on the lamp - I had a girlfriend once who use to gauge my 'performance' by how loud I could make the chimes ring ........ After wearing out 3 sets of chimes she finally saw no further need to gauge anything ........... (-; Link to comment
abintraphoto 0 Posted October 24, 2004 Lol - touche' ... Well ok, maybe there is only one real goody here ......... sol Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted July 1, 2005 A room that exists in my mind. The more I try to forget, the closer it feels. My only realisation is the addiction to the red room. Link to comment
