trying to determine what is the 'yellow blob' near the top of the dead tree on the left???

Not the usual mountain, very impressive. Tall as well taken from 3000M and its above that, wow. Picture presents a wonderment about the Granite area surrounding it. Is that solid rocky area or exfoliated debris ?
