Yeah! This is awesome! All that space does so much for the elements kept in the frame. This is most assuredly one of the strongest images you've done since I started seeing your work. Brilliant job.

Yes I really like this one too. Probably one of my 3 or 4 favorites. I could have included people to the right, but I didn't want anything to distract from this. I did crop a bit of space out, but when I print I'll probably leave it be.

 

BTW Native Americans DO NOT like to have their photo taken. Forget about it on a NM reservations, and just hope they don't confront you if you shoot them in public. They see it as disrespectful, but I think this photo is anything but disrespectful.

Good idea all that blank space. But just for this choose - peraphs - a 'better' subject include at bottom was better. The cut onto the neck seems too drastic.

Thanks for your input. The primary reason I framed it like this was because I didn't want some of the distracting clutter on the bottom. I wasn't sure if framing right below the boy's neck would be cutting it too close or not, but I decided to go that route. I didn't have a chance to do another.
