Flower n frost

Please comment on this-any suggestion to improve ?

Terrific detail and color. Black background may be a little too heavy.

It looks a touch too contrasty in my opinion, I think a softer touch would improve it, but it is a nice shot.

Mark, the background was in shade and that is what made me interested to take the picture.

 

Dennis, I did not do anything with the contrast except sharpening it a little ,as I originally said. Set against the dark backgound, it was lit by the early morning sun and looked exactly the way you see it here.

Great capture! You could probably bring the background light up a bit. I think that would give the shot more balance.

Its such an amazing photograph! Pls change the frame if you can, its an eye-sore! Usually a simple black line with a broad white base works best for most shots. The photograph almost looks like a paintings, amazing colours.
