It was definitely worth it. A think a little more brightness into those smallish areas reflecting light, not overall brightnes

Me encanta el colorido final ... ese toque de envejecido y los reflejos obtenidos.

Es un cuadro.

Un saludo

The composition and colours are wonderful. It would just need to edit out those hot spots, but that is just a detail.

Thanks to all for your comments, they are very encouraging. I took another picture along with this one, but it turned out too dark. I am happy you like this one :)

I agree with the hot spots, but I would only edit out the one in the background jar... somehow I like the hot spot in the foreground one. I also agree with having some more light in the light areas (thus obtaining more contrast). This is what I got in a second experiment I did with the same setup, but in the end it turned out too dark. The thing that I liked most of that other attempt, however, was the hot spot on one of the flowers and the shadow it projects in the wall (see attached picture).

Thanks again and best regards!

It was certainly worth the effort, it's nice and pleasing to look at. The only hint (and downfall in IMHO) is the flowers on the left being cropped out of the frame. In cases like this, the composition is usually closed and nothing explicitly reaches out of the frame. If you had not cropped the flowers, it'd certainly be a 7/7. (The pot on the right is another case, but the cropped part is in the shadows, so it's not bothering me so much)... Jiri
