OK Michael, you seem to be breaking a few conventions here! The nice purple flare spot certainly adds a dash of colour especially as you have desaturated the rest. Also the tilt to the right... Im trying to decide if it gives me any particular feeling but I don't think it does. I'd be interested to know what you were aiming for here.

I love the low angle and the tombstone on the left of the foreground. The solitude of the place and the lighting move me a bit. A special shot.

The overall effect is good. The flare spot would be a distraction for me. The angle is fine. I really like the subject. Go back on an overcast or rainy day.

Thanks for all the feedback. Yes, it's all wrong, taken into the sun hence the lensflare and it isn't vertical, but my view of churches is not the conventional one.
