Ok, this is a scuplture. How does it play into the background? Does

it work?

Are you familiar with Andy Goldsworthy? If not, you should really check him out. He does some AMAZING things with outdoor "art/sculpture". I think he will knock your socks off. Anyway, this is very interesting. I always question Andy's work as I do with this. Is it a photograph or just a documentation of your sculpture? I'm still not sure. Thanks for sharing

I had just left a comment on another image where the leaves are perfectly lined up. Now I got it!

Yep, I though Andy Goldsworthy too. The relationship between the 'sculpture' and the tree works pretty well - though I wish there wasn't quite so much 'empty' space between them.

I checked the link to Andy Goldsworthy images. I think David has done a nice job of trying to incorporate the sculpture into the environment, even though it doesn't quite work. There is a similar leaf sculpture by Andy that is just a close-up of the leaves.

 

David, keep working. You're on to something. I really like this one.
