Just the right exposure for my tastes, whites not too bright, good depth. Can you believe some people actually get bored of these types of shots. That's like yanwing at a sunset...

Steve, I appreciate the comment. I've utilized, shall we say, slower-than-normal shutter speeds for many years... yet I've been told (on another forum) by more than one reviewer they loathe any photo with water "softened" by slow shutter speeds. To my way of looking at the world, they are blind. And, have also been told this style of photography is "a fad" and shall pass. At least to me, this "fad" has been lasting for over 30 years. Thanks again...

A little comment on the high contrast, relating especially to the real dark areas. This is partially due to downsizing and conversion of the image. The original of course is film, with a super-res scan made... the original image is 146 megs. It has a faint touch of deep green foliage behind the falls, and details of ridge lines in the rocks in the waterfall area, which is lost here. What's most distressing is the loss of a line of green moss behind the water in the middle falls, which shows clearly in the original, but lost here. Oh well... suppose it would be rather hard to look at this site if all the images were 146 megs! ;-)

Glenn, this is a wonderful photo, just right exposure for me. Love the way you slowed down the water, beautiful falls. Cheers, Sondra
