WJT 653 Posted October 13, 2004 I like the dark background; it sets off the flower's colors very well. The lighting on this one is excellent! A few more technical details, such as equipment used, exposure, etc. would be appreciated. Regards. Link to comment
david bohn 0 Posted October 13, 2004 Hi Walter, I cant exactly remember the details but I lit the subject with a single 4ft soft box flash, then in a dark room I kept the shutter open and used a very directional pen light to light up the inside of the flower. If I had to guess I would say in a dark room, with the pen light it would have been f13, 3-5 seconds.(maybe) Link to comment
oistein 0 Posted November 13, 2004 Excellent lighting (angle etc), lovely colours. Great how it pops out from the background. Would like to see a fine art print of this one! Oistein Link to comment
david bohn 0 Posted November 13, 2004 Thanks Oistein, what do you mean about "I'd like to see a fine art print of this one." What could I do to make it a "fine art" print? Thanks. Link to comment
anthonyt 0 Posted April 15, 2005 Outstanding use of light and color. Both simple, and emotional, nicely done. It would look nice matted and framed. 6/6 Link to comment
