A wonderful retro feel to this photograph. The shallow depth of field, the tonal range and the pose remind me of the serialist photographers of the 1930's!

yep, it looks retro, probably becouse of the low contrast and limited dof on the edges... also the dress may be part of this feeling. On the other side i like the way the girl seems relaxed, and i like the way the image is composed... eyes are on top third and that's all, this might be odd at a first sight, but then it helps me focusing on her and her look. Intriguing image. G.

I don't know she is smiling or thinking, I wanna know what is her feel! Misha, again I enjoy from balance of your black and white color (white in forground and black background). they are not accident.

I would have been inclined to concentrate more on her (interesting) face and I would have banished that distracting cushion in the foreground. I find the rendering of her neck and upper body less than flattering.Apart from that, interesting mood and expression.
