marta eguia 0 Posted September 6, 2001 I'm really begining to get interested in photography. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Marta Quote Link to comment
mgvaughan.com 0 Posted September 6, 2001 Composition needs work. The soft focus is nice. Quote Link to comment
dzhaughnne 0 Posted September 6, 2001 I must second the suggestion for slower film and a tripod; also the suggestion for more careful framing. The biggest problem (to me) is that you've cut off the top of the l-house. The symmetrical treatment could work, but it seems (to me) to want a bit of sky up there to breathe in. Slower film and a tripod would go a long way toward eliminating the rough appearance. Quote Link to comment
fabriziogiudici 0 Posted September 7, 2001 I would suggest you to use a slower film. Faster films shows a coarse grain. You should also consider that too much simmetry usually is not appreciated. You should try to break it - there is the well known "third rule": just imagine dividing the frame in three parts, both vertically and horizontally, and put your "interest points" on the boundaries. In this case this translates in adding some space to the left or the right of the lighthouse. Quote Link to comment
