barn with lines

The concept I had was to show four different eras of America in one

picture. The farm is the 18th century, the railroad track is the

19th century, the power lines (which are barely visible) are the

20th, and the telecomm lines are the 21st. Did I pull it off?

I'm having trouble with the color (slide is much better than scan),

but how's the composition - is this interesting at all? I'm new to

photography, if that counts for anything.
