f1-fanatic 0 Posted October 31, 2004 Powerful and moving photograph? You really convey a sense of hopelessness and despair with this one. Sad subject, but very well done! Link to comment
susan stone 0 Posted September 23, 2005 I had to come take a quick look at your portfolio and I can certainly see your strong journalism background shining through but being a "ranchhand" myself I really liked the ranching scenes.....been there, doing that. But this portrait of the Navajo woman is so poignant, good use of B&W (not my genre), and such graphic detail in her hands, the image truly conveys her despair. give Tosca a pet and hug from Smokey Joe and I. henrimanguy 0 Posted November 22, 2005 Superb portrait which shows the distress not only of this woman but of all the Navajo people. I don't personnaly knows Roberta Blackgoat but I have heard about her as a member of the Comite de solidarite avec les Indiens d'Amerique (CSIA), a french organization which defend the rights of the Amerindians. Thank you to help them with your photos. Link to comment

jh de beer 0 Posted November 8, 2006 I believe it is the combination of: nikon F3 180mm lens tri-x film but especially the film (I may be wrong, but getting this in digital is near impossible) Michael, very good and strong image, full of emotion although in this instance, the windows to the sould are hidden. Superb. Regards. JH Link to comment
