It's hard to believe that these scenes exist in nature and unless you've seen them you have your doubts. I really enjoy What you can get on a camera by either getting up early or staying up late enough.

Thanks for your kind comments, I used a graduated ND filter which I held in front of the lens - took about 10 shots to get it somewhere near what I wanted(guess who forgot to pack the holder!. I also cropped the shot in PS.
