Love the composition, and especially the cyan color. What good fortune to have the birds show up! Congrats! I'd like to see the perspective distortion corrected, and the image rotated to straighten things up. Sometimes it's good for effect, but in this case, it's a bit distracting.

Focus, it's not a nuke plant. Convection cooling towers, sure, but see the stack (flue) on the right? Nukes don't have those, but there are lots of modern mega-size coal burners that have convection cooling towers.

To me, the image speaks of having technology and nature coexist. I don't know if this was the intent, but to me it's a powerful (no pun intended) message.

I've seen something like this at Portland General Electric in Oregon. Beautiful trees, wildfowl swimming around in beautiful lagoons surrounding nuke plant.

But I'm not sure we're looking at a nuke plant here, despite the cooling towers. Cooling towers are also used in coal plants sometimes. I think the cropping was done carelessly. The color may or may not suggest pollution, but as someone pointed out the swans suggest that this is actually a very healthy environment.

Personally, I hate nukes. This image doesn't make a point, one way or another.

This image doesn't do much for me.. The IR blue look kills the mood for me. Though the ducks really add to this image. I would adjust this with a rotate of around 0.5 degrees counter clockwise because its unlevel. Also i would use the un-sharpen mask and sharpen it up a bit. Its blurry and the detail is blown.. My guess is that your intention was to use a blue skylight filter to neutralize the blown out spots in the image. Remember 3 under 1 over.

Take Care

I am not crazy about the color of the sky. It looks unnatural. My opinion. But the reflection, the swans, the technology/nature mix, and the composition are very good, and beautiful.
