robidooo 0 Posted October 2, 2004 Finally I have some new stuff...shot it while waiting for the Metro, which is obvious! I would like to know if you like or not the fact that the floor is overexposed everywhere beside where the guy stand on the lower left. Also, is the fact that the girl's boots are white is hurting this photo? Thanks for your feedback. Link to comment
matthew leong 0 Posted October 2, 2004 Actually I am not bothered by any of those things, the shot by itself is very "strong" due to the slight blur and the rushing train as backdrop. Good shot. Link to comment
willy.marthinussen 0 Posted October 2, 2004 Hi Stephane..i agree..a strong photo with good "feel"to it..the girls boots and the slightly overexposured floor gives me the feeling of something supernatural as i see another dimention somehow:) love this one :) --willy-- Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted October 3, 2004 Strong image. Partly because of the over-exposure. Good shot ! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted October 5, 2004 the over exposure doesn't bother me, either. Cool. Link to comment
jimmy_larouche 0 Posted October 6, 2004 Hey steph, I'm totally amazed by this picture. It's so different than your other work. Man, I think this is art. This reminds me of some War Kong Wai scene (its asian movie director). I love the mood of this picture, but more than that, I love the fact that you tried something very different than what you use to shoot. About the surexposed part, it might have been just a bit less exposed, but you know my taste, and you know surex doesnt bug me at all. 6/6 Link to comment
robidooo 0 Posted October 6, 2004 Just want to thank you all for your comments and comfort me into my choice of overexposure. Jimmy, it is not totally a new style. I do this kind of moody photo since the beginning but maybe not at the same level. I'm trying to create more moody photo with a lot of my B&W & toned images. Link to comment
robidooo 0 Posted October 6, 2004 Oh Jimmy...and I forgot to thank you for giving me the chance to get this shot. I took it while waiting the train for going to your financing party. Link to comment
dawzy 0 Posted October 8, 2004 Makes me want to rush out to the metro and snap some pictures myself. You may want to submit this one to the contest that is on in Montreal (I am assuming that is where you too this photo) the winning pictures are supposed to be put up in the halls of Berri-UQAM, and may be published. -let me know if you are interested I will look for the email. Truly inspiring shot! Link to comment
