Framed II

An evening at one of my favourite locations at Garden Of The Gods.It

was after a storm, there were subtle colors in distant clouds, there

was this peace too...seeing this scene finally in digital.

perfect shot. fantastic composition, well balanced frame, angle of view superb, light is amazing & what a moment 2 choose 4 pressing the shutter.

The depth of field and lighting are perfect.

The only thing that catches my eye is the bit of orange to the right of the tree. It keeps pulling my eyes away from the rest of the iamge, which i think it beautiful. It would be pretty easy to crop out the orange - if you wanted to, of course. after all, this is your image, and not mine. just my suggestion, and i'm being picky at that. this is a really nice image.

nice for a landscape photo, really one of the best i have ever seen....usually i hate landscapes on photos but in this case its different, i don't hate it! this looks almost surreal.....

Hello everyone, I am so happy to see so many responses!! Never got so many for any of my photos before!! Thank you all so much for the comments and your time.Tuhin, the reddish peaks are natural, I live at Colorado, (name itself means a type of "red") where I am blessed with beauty everywhere I look.These are not far away places very close to where I love, 10 mins away in car!.Wayne, Gustavo, this place is in Colorado Springs , CO. Garden Of The Gods is the name and it is beautiful as it is named.This tree is quite very special especially when u lie down on the floor and tilt your camera up a little bit and look thru the view finder!.This is what I did, usually you pass by the tree and never notice anything special but I had to lie down on the floor to see this angle.Thanks again everyone.

You did a great job in capturing the symbolic GOG from that angle! Hope to see some more after a snow fall. Interestingly, at one point of time I used to live near the foot hill of the mountain on the left. For readers that blue mountain hosts a zoo on the side and also NORAD inside the rock formation. Just imagine what will happen if zoo animals escape and take over that place.. :)
