What a shot! I've never even attempted to shoot humming birds but my experiences with *regular* birds and butterflies has been enough to let me know that it wouldn't be easy. You sure make it look like a snap, though. Nice shot!

The figure is a very good capture with wide open wings and a ready beak to eye horizontal. However, as a result of birds's movement and focusing, detail on its back and generally on its skin have been blurred thus making closer viewing not as pleasant. Therefore, there is a significant difference between seeing this shot a small and large.

You have a good eye, catching them like this, Yes, that one is a bit blured in some parts, but still a nice catch! Pnina

I figured it out, this one remindes me of a pet finch i had when i was very young. For me this picture stood out from the rest. i think it's very original too. i dont think i have ever seen a hummingbird perched before! great capture!
