kevinbick 0 Posted September 29, 2004 I thought from the thumbnail this was one where the background color had been removed...but it didn't need to be removed...nice shot..the bright colors against the drab background are excellent.. Link to comment
sef1664877429 0 Posted September 29, 2004 Sorry, not much to suggest, its a good portrait. I suppose it could be better, but hard to say how- a different pose maybe, less formal, the one on the left esp., looks a little stiff. What about a lower angle, looking up? Link to comment
simonbode 0 Posted September 29, 2004 thanks for your comment, i submitted a similiar one wizh a much more lower viewpoint, called "arrived" ,it?s in my "characters" album... maybe you like it more...regards Link to comment
filip_dabrowski1 0 Posted October 9, 2004 I like this one...poped right out of your portfolio due to the framing and colors. Not much to improve here...this is an all around excellent travel shot. Well done. Link to comment
sabshire 0 Posted November 1, 2004 I was inclined like Kevin that you had desaturated the background. This is a great shot, and an excellent use of color. Congrats! Link to comment
antoni mysliborski 0 Posted January 13, 2005 very good concerning the colours and composition, it's a pleasure for eyes to watch it. but it slightly lacks the emotional load that portraits should possess Link to comment

kim_s 0 Posted April 2, 2005 wow, like everyone else has said.. fantastic contrast and colors. I really like how only of them was making eye contact. Link to comment
charodiez 0 Posted June 3, 2005 So this is your "orange"...and mute green also! The centered composition is perfect for this shot! Link to comment
scott galer 0 Posted July 27, 2005 I really like this shot, Simon. The contrast between the colors and textures of the robes in the foreground and stone in the background is striking. I also like the way that the younger boy's eyes take the viewer out of the picture somewhat. Very nice. Link to comment
biancavanderwerf 0 Posted February 20, 2006 For me this is magic..... Soooo beautiful!!! I've been in Thailand for 2 months and I haven't had the courage to portrait the monks... :-).... So I have to go back again... But this is a dream! Link to comment
