Well, indeed it is a beautiful subject and you've made a very nice composition, but the light foreground, because of its lightness and for no other reason, dominates more than it should. My eye is continualy returned to it and it isn't interesting at all. With some work, this could be quite nice.

I really like this photo. The textures of the ground and tree make an excellent juxtaposition. If I were going to change anything, I would brighten the greens up so they pop just a little more. Everything in the frame draws the eye to the tree, I want it to be a little more interesting, maybe even discordant with the rest of the tones.

But this is a really great picture. I am jealous. Keep up the good work.

Would work much better were it to be cropped up about 20% or so. Leaving out the sky was clearly a choice you made here; the shadows of clouds on the hills is a nice dynamic - nevertheless, the vast foreground to a bit much and is distracting from the overall enjoyment here. Just my opinion.

I like it but: try a little crop from the bottom and see how that looks. the contrast is a little much in the foreground ... that could be cleaned up a bit with PS.

Francesco, nice texture. I like the simplicity and composition. Mr. Voss definitely has a point about the bright area in the forground, but other than that, it works for me. ^_^

Very enjoyable to gaze at for a long time...I see the point about the foreground although it has a way of creating more depth toward the centre. It looks like it is about to fold in half! Wonderful Capture!!!

Superb image once again. Terrific landscape, Francesco. If I were to do anything differently I'd have framed the shot with the tree a little more to the right to balance the space at the top.
