noodleboy 0 Posted September 27, 2004 unmanipulated photo - shot on my old yashica-A. dim attic room lit by 2 of those big hot 500watt shop work lights reflected away from her. every time i get back a roll of 120 film, its usually a big waste of money, and theres always that 1 shot per roll that paid for itself. this was the winner. i liked the composition, tell me what you think Link to comment
threeleaf 0 Posted September 27, 2004 entire portfolio before commenting on this one I would say the following - you have a very strong portfolio with a unique style and strong consistant elements - your work is very professionaly looking and you have produced many wonderful shots. This shot is one of the best you have - definitly a nice one to see when getting the BnW's back from development. I think the lady is beautiful and a very good subject to shoot I also think your lighting is working well for you - the only think left that I am not crazy about is the room wurrounding her. That is simply a preference. To me it detracts from her - especially the large white spot that appears to be in the mirror over on the right side. This shot still gets a 6/6 - well done In closing I will say I hope you have the opportunity to work with her again. Link to comment
