Wow! I've been at this spot last month!! I hope to visit there once more. :) (your picture is so excellent that i'd skip critique part.)

The colors are so over-saturated that I assume this is done on purpose. As such, it works well, perhaps as an illustration in a children's book. There is something very interesting in the contrast between the natural looking colors of the rocks and sea, and the saturated colors of the houses, grass and sky.

You illustrate the excellence of digital alteration. The photo quality of the foreground, contrasted by the stark simplness of the buildings followed by the softness of the clouds. Excellence of style and composition.

Continue raising the bar.

Thank You all! For the nice comments, I think i have now converted myself to shooting in raw. Even if my camera takes 15 seconds to record the picture. And my laptop begs for mercy processing them. :) To answer the saturation question yes it was my intention to saturate the colors in this picture. And a kind request goes out to "Jack Pittman" Jack could you please upload some pictures so i and my fellow photo.netters can learn how to improve on my (our) aesthethics and originality in my (our) work, Im always willing to improve but cannot do so without a critique or an example to look at.

Thanks Kindly, DG
