sy 0 Posted September 27, 2004 Looking at this makes me sad to think that we are here wanting to have our pictures judged by others while there are many in this world can't even find food or shelter. This one certainly puts things in perspective for me. Well done. Link to comment
donovan 0 Posted September 27, 2004 I can stare at this for hours. You can almost feel her pain!Have you tried it in B+W? Link to comment
daniel_runge 0 Posted September 27, 2004 This photo is amazing! But as someone mentioned earlier its quite scary were rating this poor woman, when shes so poor she probably cant even buy food. And then we say: Great photo! Makes me sad... But the photo is amazing and it really touched me! 7/7 Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted September 27, 2004 If you live in a "southern country", this is what you usually encounter in your daily life in urbon areas. It's amazing how people block them out of their eyesight and mind. It becomes so ordinary that you automatically ignore the human tragedy in it. That has been demonstrated with peopel walking away from her at waist level in the background and that's what I appreciate in this shot more than anything. Link to comment

awaraagard 0 Posted September 27, 2004 powerful, yes...& @ the same time thought provoking. the have nots always have been a subject of grt art. this particular pic not only shows the harsh reality that surrounds all of us [ growing poverty in all contries despite our politicians best efforts i mean ] but also brings 2 focus the burden of live on these already broken ppl. the expression on the face tears my heart apart. george, george, george...u captured LIFE in this pic my friend. jos www.inpix.biz 0 Posted September 29, 2004 The drama is heart wrenching, the photo so much more powerful when the other people have no heads...as if they have nothing with which to understand this persons life, they are just walking away. Link to comment

leepix 0 Posted May 30, 2008 This is a great shot. What an amazing vision. I like that you got lower for the frame and brought the viewer to the beggars level. Much more powerful. thanks for sharing Lee Link to comment
